How much does the app cost?

The Quiet Collection is FREE to download. Once you create an account and log in, you will have access to the Borrowed Prayers and The Psalms for free. You will only enter your payment information if you want to purchase or gift one of the Advent Collections in our secure checkout. The Collection prices are listed inside the app - past Collections are $10/each and the 2024 Collection is $10 until Friday December 6. (In some cases tax will be added dependent on where you live.)

Does the app work on iPhone and Android?

Yes, The Quiet Collection is available for both iPhone and Android devices and can be accessed via the App Store or Google Play.

Can I send Collections as a gift?

Yes! They make a wonderful gift. Simply choose "I want to gift this" on the check out page.

If you already have access to one or more of the Collections, look for the small gift box icon in the top right-hand corner of your Collections player page.

Follow the prompts to enter your recipient(s) email and purchase right in the app.

Your recipients will receive an automated email from us that will let them know they have received a gift from you with instructions on how to download the app and redeem their free gift.

Is there any other way to listen to the Collections?

The only way to listen to the Collections is through the app.

If you purchased the Advent Collections in the past (prior to 2022) you will still have access to listen as you did before: email, website, or private podcast feed.

Where is the Collection I bought in the app last year?

If you purchased a previous Collection inside the app, you still have access to them and they will be available under Advent Collections in your library.

We currently have Advent Collections created in 2020, 2021, 2022 and our new 2024 Collection available on the app. The only Collections available inside the app are ones purchased in the app format.

Can I add previously purchased Collections to the app?

If you purchased Collections 2020 or 2021, there is no way to automatically add them to the app. If you want access to them on the app, you will need to repurchase them.

However, you still have access to your Collection in one of the following 3 ways:

1. Email: We used to deliver the Collections through email so as long as you didn't delete them, search in your inbox (including updates, promotions, or spam folders) for “Emily P. Freeman” or "The Quiet Collection".

2. Podcast feed: You may also have accessed the Collections through a private podcast feed so check your podcast players.

3. Website: Login with your email and password right here (If you forgot your password you can reset it!) and you will find the Collections you purchased in your online library.

Is there a NEW Collection for 2025?

Yes! We have created a new Collection for the season of Lent called The Lent Collection. You can access this Collection beginning on March 5, 2025.

How do I download the app?

The Quiet Collection is available for Apple devices at the Apple Store and for Android devices at the Google Play store.

What's included?

There are five Collection categories inside the app.

1. Borrowed Prayers - New and familiar prayers you can return to for various seasons.

2. The Psalms - Eleven commonly requested Pslams, read in three different versions of scripture.

3. Blessings for Hellos and Goodbyes - Available for purchase or for free with the purchase of Emily's latest NYT bestselling book, How to Walk into a Room. Learn more here.

4. Advent - Four Advent Collections (Hope, Love, Compassion, and our newest Collection, Peace)

5. The Lent Collection

I'm logged into the app but don't see the newest Collection.

Check to see if there are any available updates to The Quiet Collection app in your phone. If it says "Update" next to the app in your settings, App Store, or Google Play Store, click "Update" and then re-open the app.

Once inside you will see "The Welcoming Room" home page. Click the button that says "Explore the Collections."

From there you will see all the available Collections.

If that doesn't work, you may need to try uninstalling and re-installing the app to your device.

My password isn't working.

On the home screen of the app there is a "Forgot Password" link. If your password still doesn't work, contact us so we can reset your password manually: [email protected]

I can't access my purchases.

If you have purchased an Advent Collection for yourself and don't see it in the app:

1. log out

2. close the app

3. reopen

4. log back in

That will generally fix the issue. If not, contact us: [email protected]

Do all the Collections come with reflection questions?

The Lent Collections does not have downloadable reflection questions. There are daily questions, but they are incorporated into the transcripts.

There are two Collections that have PDF downloads connected: Advent 2024 (Peace) and The Blessings for Hellos and Goodbyes.

Where are the transcripts?

Once inside a Collection, click on the track you want to listen to or read. Once the specific track shows up in your player, there is a button that says "Read the Transcript." The transcript for that track will appear on your screen.

How can I gift a Collection to a friend?

On the checkout page, simply choose "I want to gift this."

If you already have access to one or more of the Collections, look for the small gift box icon in the top right-hand corner of your Collections player page.

Follow the prompts to enter your recipient(s) email and purchase right in the app.

Your recipients will receive an automated email from us that will let them know they have received a gift from you with instructions on how to download the app and redeem their free gift.

Note: You can also gift the Blessings Collection, OR you can purchase a copy of Emily’s latest book, How to Walk Into a Room. The Blessings Collection is included as a FREE GIFT for anyone who purchases a hardcover copy of the book. Once you or your gift recipient has a copy of the hardcover version of the book, you/they can scan the QR in the back of the book and follow the instructions to receive their free code to download the Blessings Collection.

How do I send a Collection to multiple people?

On the checkout page, simply choose "I want to gift this."

If you already have access to one or more of the Collections, look for the small gift box icon in the top right-hand corner of your Collections player page.

Choose the number of gifts you would like to send (quanties are 1-10, 15, and 20).

Follow the prompts to enter your recipient(s) email and purchase right in the app. If you have multiple recipients you will be able to listen their name and email individually (please enter their email carefully!)

Your recipients will receive an automated email from us that will let them know they have received a gift from you with instructions on how to download the app and redeem their free gift.

I purchased a Collection as a gift but my friend hasn't received their code.

If you gifted a Collection to a friend, and they haven't received their gift email, you can send them their gift code directly.

Open your app, navigate to the bottom right corner to the gear icon, select "Account," and scroll down for purchased gifts. You will see the giftees email address along with their unique code. You can copy the code there and send to your friend. Note: Codes are case sensitive so be sure to copy it exactly.

How do I access a Collection I received as a gift?

Log into the app (or download it if you don’t have it yet), find the Advent Collections, and then select the Collection that you were gifted (the name of the Collection should be in the email you received when you got the gift.)

Once there, you should see the option to input the code.

I received a Collection as a gift but my code isn't working.

Gift codes are only applicable for the specific collection you were gifted. Make sure that you are redeeming the code within the correct collection on the app. Codes are case sensitive.
